Commonwealth Lounge & Grill’s newest location in Newport Beach on the Balboa Peninsula recently opened its doors in September of 2010; featuring a modern day supper club with completely remodeled interiors, eclectic menu and swanky flair. Commonwealth Lounge & Grill boasts two levels of antique yet trendy décor with chic ambiance and a relaxed atmosphere – oversized booths, dramatic chandeliers, plush leather floor to ceiling walls, dark bamboo wood, outdoor patios and dockside views all add to the CW experience. Classic black and white movies play silently on the flat screen TVs, and you can usually catch your favorite sporting event played earlier in the evening. And the view is amazing – from every table.

CW offers an extensive American gourmet “comfort food” style menu with timeless signature dishes made to please any taste bud, seven days a week. Specialty dishes with a CW twist include Garlic & Parmesan Slow Roasted Prime Rib, the best Monte Cristo sandwich since the 50s and a variety of steaks, chops, and seafood dishes prepared with a designer’s eye. Lighter options include the infamous Ahi Tuna Tower, Pigs in a Blanket, gourmet salads, flatbread pizzas, hot gourmet sandwiches and sides. Dessert is never forgotten at Commonwealth, preparing daily masterpieces including the infamous Cookie Monster, Campfire S’mores with your own mini hibachi on your table. The lengthy beer, wine and cocktail selection features 26 craft and non-domestic beers on tap, boutique wines by the glass, and signature drinks like the Moscow Mule and Fat Cat.

Open for dinner 7 nights a week. Lunch Saturday-Sunday. Late night Friday - Saturday until midnight.
